Faster Horses Festival Returns to Brooklyn, MI

For the sixth consecutive year, the Faster Horses Festival takes over the Michigan International Speedway for its annual music festival on July 20, 21 and 22, 2018.

This year’s event will consist of a star-studded lineup that includes headlining acts Blake Shelton, Brooks & Dunn, Florida Georgia Line and Brantley Gilbert.  The rest of the incredible lineup consists of: Billy Currington, Ashley McBride, LOCASH, Dustin Lynch, Parmalee, Raelyn and Morgan Wallen.  More artists will be named to appear on the main stage and the Next from Nashville Stage as the festival nears.

The #partyofthesummer includes other activities away from the musical stages that are well known to Faster Horses Festival attendees.  You can hop a ride on the ferris wheel or swings to get a different view high above the festival grounds.  Show off your driving skills and race your friends with a little go-kart racing.  If the weather is a little too warm for you, you can cool off on the water slides or have some fun inside the foam party.  Some of those who are into contest can join in with the creative campers in the “Campsite Contest,” the eagerly energized “Faster Humans Fun Run” and the brave “Live Band Karaoke.”

Being self-titled as the “the three-day hillbilly sleepover,” there are nine different types of campgrounds to choose from that are spread out over the grounds of the speedway.

The three-day music festival has quickly become a favorite amongst the country music fans as they flock from everywhere including Canada and other countries.  With over 50,000 in daily attendance in 2017, the festival has seen tremendous growth in it’s early existence as it’s inaugural event six years ago only seen 20,000 concertgoers.

As the popularity of the festival continues to grow, early ticket purchases and camping reservations are strongly recommended.  For more information or to stay up to date on the 2018 Faster Horses Festival, follow along with the links below.
