I work: Currently working in construction while going to school for a health science associates.
I enjoy: The things I enjoy most is capturing life in action, anything were nature can be absorbed and having my daughter be a part of it.
Goals/Dreams: To finish school and get into the radiology program for a sustainable career where I will be allowed enough time to work on my passion of photography to hopefully have some of my work published with some major media outlets. Also to get my portraiture photography to supplement my pay enough to do just photography full time.
Tell us about your style, and what you contribute to Splice that makes you unique
My own personal eye of composition. To help inspire others I work with to push themselves.
Splice (Bucket) List: Probably not any specific artist as much as I would like to capture festivals. There are so many things going on at most festivals it’s just a gold mine for awesome photos.
Guilty Pleasures: Getting sucked into my work and seeing my friends use my shots I got of them playing in their band as their profile pics.
The first album I ever owned was: Smashing Pumpkins- Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness
My first concert was: Nine Inch Nails
The last concert I attended was: Bonnaroo
If I could have attended any concert in history, I’d go back in time and see: Probably the Bonnaroo where Tool was a headliner
Favorite non-photography activity? Rock Climbing and chasing waterfalls
What was the first concert you photographed? My buddies bands at some small local festivals
If you could photograph any concert in history, what would it be? Woodstock
If you could interview any celebrity in history, who would it be? Jamie Fox or Justin Timberlake (I love Renaissance Men)
I get mistaken for this celebrity: I’ve been called Hozier a few times before
The last movie I saw was: Blade Runner
My favorite TV show is: Legion, or Game of Thrones
My favorite website is: Youtube for tutorials
My favorite food is: Seafood.. Specifically crab legs!
Five items that are always in your refrigerator: Milk, Ketchup, Mustard, Pickles, and not enough food!
My favorite non-musical activity: anything to do with nature
My most treasured possession is: My little family
My biggest phobia is: Losing my family and not achieving my goals
My biggest pet peeve is: When someone doesn’t do what they say they would.
My favorite place in the world is: Ive yet to be able to go out of the country so thats hard to say but I really do love the west coast of the states.
My dream car is: A vehicle that could be used as an overland vehicle or something that could be used to travel everywhere I can.
My hidden talents are: I’m not really sure. I do feel as if I’m a jack of trades and master of none.
When you’re not photographing great concerts, writing about them, interviewing artists, doing album reviews… what can we find you doing? If I’m not working on my portraitures work I can be found either playing drums with my band, rock climbing or visiting waterfalls.
